One couple invited Bad Bunny to their wedding and got the surprise of a lifetime when the musician asked them to take part in his Super Bowl 60 halftime show instead.

The couple said "I do" during the epic performance on Sunday, Feb. 8. Bad Bunny even signed the marriage certificate, per a press release sent to TODAY.com.

For the occasion, the bride wore a white wedding gown from designer Hayley Paige.

Paige tells TODAY.com she first learned about the exciting moment from a friend of her sister, Megan Gutman, a producer who has worked on several Super Bowl commercials before.

“Her really good friend Joleen Garnett is a stylist, and she had texted me maybe two weeks ago and said, ‘I need a dress for a really important event.’ She just basically said, ‘Could you send me a bunch of options? Please don’t share it with anyone, but it is for the Super Bowl halftime show,’" Paige explains.

The designer was psyched that one of her dresses could be featured in the halftime show, but she didn't want to get her hopes up since she assumed that Garnett was also pulling dresses from other designers as well.

Paige originally thought the dress might be for a backup dancer, but then she learned that it was for an actual bride.

“To have a moment like that, and it actually be a real bride, I think made it even more special because the message is, ‘Love wins,’” she says.

The dress, named Becoming Jane, is part of Paige's new Twice Upon a Time collection and can be worn in six different ways.

“This one has some really fun interchangeability. She has a fitted base, which is lace on lace, kind of this textured, sexy fit. It’s got a slit. Then we build up on the dress so there’s a big overskirt that you can wear, so you can kind of have your cake and eat it too — except it’s have your fitted look and then also a ball gown," she says.

Brides can also customize the look with half sleeves or a detachable bolero.

"It’s a fun shapeshifter of a dress. (The bride) wore it just with the base and the slit and then had a beautiful, matching veil with it to show off her curves and she looks fabulous," Paige says.

Paige says the dress has a lot of “sexiness” and “feminine energy” to it. Plus, it has a stretchy lining to make it easy to dance in, which was especially helpful in this instance.

“I saw during the show they were dancing and having fun,” she says.

While watching the halftime show at home with her fiancé, friend and dogs, Paige felt like it was a full circle moment for her brand and her own story.

“I’ve been through this crazy legal battle where I lost my name and then got it all back in a bankruptcy court. I've been on this journey. I actually rebranded and relaunched Hayley Paige just six months ago," she says.

After the halftime show, Paige contacted the bride to share her well wishes.

"I reached out to the bride to congratulate her and tell her she looks beautiful and that she can keep the dress," she says.
